Spotlight: Sole success came on good to firm in 6f Newmarket maiden last August; fine on much softer ground, however, and he comes here after a good second of 20 in York handicap (7f, soft) a fortnight ago; drop back to 6f shouldn't present a problem; contender.

Spotlight: Landed a sixth win when bagging soft-ground 6f handicap at Lingfield in June; bumped into one when creditable second of 14 off this mark at Haydock one week ago; can make his presence felt.

Spotlight: 6f Ffos Las maiden winner on good to soft last August; came home well having encountered traffic issues when beaten 1l in series final at Kempton (6f, AW) last Wednesday; that was his first go in this headgear combination and he's respected, despite soft ground (or worse) raising a query.

Spotlight: Five wins include a C&D success on soft back in 2023; hasn't scored since winning on heavy just over a year ago and he disappointed behind Big Harry last time; firm handicapping case to be made, though, and the booking of Oisin Murphy catches the eye.
