Spotlight: The horse who beat him on bumper debut at Ayr (heavy) went on to win a Grade 2 and this gelding made no mistake when 6-4 at Huntingdon (good to soft), coming home 11l to the good; posted a useful RPR that day and looks a nice prospect for hurdling.

Spotlight: No fireworks in his two bumpers, finishing second in a small field at Fakenham (soft) and a 9l third at Wincanton (good; 11-10f); hurdling will be more his thing, however.

Spotlight: Similar profile and a similar level of form to Beau Speed in two bumpers; clearly open to significant improvement now he goes jumping.

Spotlight: 75,000euros 3yo; ridder colder than the principals when a 12l fourth at Warwick (2m, good to soft) and that was probably a good race, with the winner next time fourth of 20 in a Grade 2 at Aintree; considered.

Spotlight: Front two were clear when this 5yo won his Irish point (3m, soft) and later recruited for £60,000; should have a bright future but seemingly rejected by Sean Bowen on this occasion.

Spotlight: The form of his debut second in Ireland worked out well; couldn't have given his true running when made favourite at Warwick and then shaped better at Southwell (2m, good); not entirely discounted on this first run over hurdles.

Spotlight: Shaped with some promise at Market Rasen (2m, good to soft) last December and he's bred to do a lot better in this discipline.

Spotlight: Seventh of 18 in her first bumper at Cheltenham, then beaten about 10l at Uttoxeter and a shade further at Newcastle; switches to hurdles for this first run of the season and the yard second string on jockey bookings.

Spotlight: A 5yo who has won seven of his eight British points since last December (2m4f-3m; on all sorts of ground); form from that scene was well advertised last week at Cheltenham, so shouldn't be underestimated.

Spotlight: Beaten a shade under 10l in a good-ground bumper at Huntingdon (80-1); likely best watched for now.

Spotlight: Never really counted when fifth in his Irish point and he's likely to find this trip too sharp on hurdle debut.

Spotlight: Inferior bumper form to some of these and has offered little in two maiden hurdles.

Spotlight: Tailed off in a Wincanton bumper when a long way behiind Beau Speed; however, he was noticeably short in the betting that day at 100-30; may show more for his respected yard.

Spotlight: Well beaten in his two bumpers for Gordon Elliott (the latest was a strong race) and suffered a similar fate when 25-1 for recent hurdling debut at Chepstow (good to soft); he already appeals as one for handicaps.

Spotlight: Won two of her eight starts in Irish points and joined this yard for £14,000; probably vulnerable.

Spotlight: 100-1 when tailed off in a Chepstow bumper for Ryan Potter.
